New Delhi, December 2025: Abhishek Sharma presented his latest couture collection, Ratiaranya, at an experiential showcase held on 19 December 2025 at The Upper House by Tivoli, Chhattarpur, New Delhi. The presentation marked an important moment in the designer’s couture journey, bringing together craftsmanship, narrative, and form in an immersive setting.
Drawing inspiration from the idea of awakening and emotional connection, Ratiaranya explored themes of love, desire, and instinct through a refined couture lens. Referencing Rati, the goddess of passion, the collection moved through contrasts—softness and strength, restraint and expression—capturing moments that feel intimate and deeply personal.
The colour story evolved through deep midnight blues, musk tones, rose hues, honeyed grape shades, kajal blacks, sunlit yellows, soft greens, and skin-inspired neutrals. These colours were layered thoughtfully to create a sense of warmth and depth across the collection.
Silhouettes focused on celebrating the natural form, featuring fluid saris, sculpted drapes, mermaid gowns, structured shoulders softened through movement, exaggerated collars, and vintage-inspired flares. The balance between masculine tailoring and feminine fluidity emerged as a key design language throughout the show.
Craft techniques formed the backbone of the collection, with metal wirework, three-dimensional body sculpting, resham embroidery, appliqué, beadwork, pleating, surface manipulation, and natural prints. Crystals, stones, and fringes were used sparingly to add texture and movement, catching the light as the garments moved.
The show concluded with OG Global Supermodel Ujjwala Raut as the showstopper. Her commanding presence delivered a powerful visual finale, reinforcing the confidence and emotional intensity of the collection.
Ratiaranya stood as more than a couture presentation; it reflected Abhishek Sharma’s evolving approach to couture, where storytelling, craftsmanship, and emotion come together with clarity and purpose.
