“Chakkar Chawani Ka” brings a clean comedy full of family entertainment. Bringing a gift of laughter amidst today’s hectic and stressful lifestyle, the clean and family comedy “Chakkar Chawani Ka” was released in theaters nationwide this week. The film offers a message of light-hearted and healthy entertainment for audiences of all age groups.
The film is written and produced by Arvind Dixit and directed by D. P. Singh Deo. The story revolves around a wealthy but extremely miserly man, played by Zahid Shah. His promise to donate a small 25 paise (that too borrowed) during a pilgrimage to the Ganges River sets off a humorous and satirical series of events that will keep the audience amused until the end.
Priyam Gujjar, Jahnvi Chauhan, Deepu Srivastava, and Ramesh Goyal also star in Pink. The film’s music is composed by Premraj, while the cinematography is by Akram Khan.
According to the makers, the film received a positive response from audiences in its first week. Overall, “Chakkar Chawani Ka” is a family-friendly, light-hearted, and message-filled entertainer.
Zahid Shah began his artistic career in theater in 1990, where he received guidance from theater guru Ranjit Kapoor. His first telefilm, “Kawwa Chala Hans Ki Chaal,” was directed by Siddharth Basu and broadcast on Doordarshan in 1991. In it, he played the role of a tailor master.
Along with acting, he also ventured into writing and directing. His 1996 serial, “Tap Tap Topi Topi,” became very popular. Recognizing his talent, veteran actors Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu gave him a major opportunity in their 2002 TV serial, “Allah Meri Tauba.” His career subsequently reached new heights.
He remained associated with Zee Salaam as a producer for 10 years. Several web series written and directed by him are available on various OTT platforms. Of particular note is Watcho Dish TV’s web series “Jaunpur,” in which he played a corrupt politician. For this role, he was honored with the Best Negative Role Award by Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala in 2023. Currently, his TV serial “Ramsay House,” directed by Deepak Tulsi Ramsay, airs every Sunday on Doordarshan National. Speaking on the occasion, his longtime friend, creative film director and senior journalist Dr. Suniel Parashar, said that Z.M. Shah is not only a brilliant actor but also a seasoned director. He has received numerous opportunities to deliver his best. He has many exciting projects lined up in the future.
